Outstanding university students


In order for top graduates from foreign universities to obtain golden residency in the UAE, they must meet a set of criteria, as their university must be ranked among the top 100 universities in the world, and their GPA must be at least 3.5. In addition, the graduation date should not be more than two years old, and the certificate should be accredited by the Ministry of Education.

Imams of mosques, preachers, muezzins, preachers, muftis and religious researchers
The previous categories can obtain golden residency in the Emirates, but they must have completed 20 years in their work.

Local university students

Outstanding students in UAE universities are granted the right to obtain a 10-year residence visa without a guarantor, provided that the required requirements are met, as the university they attended must be classified as (A) or (B), and the cumulative GPA must be no less than 3.5 in universities classified as (A), or 3.8 in universities classified as (B).

For students who have achieved a grade of at least 95% in government or private secondary examinations, they are entitled to obtain a 5-year residence visa without a guarantor, provided that a letter of recommendation is submitted from the Ministry of Education (Emirates Education Foundation).


Distinguished people in sports fields

Athletes who have achieved a colorful medal (whether Olympic or world for their country), who hold a leadership position in distinguished sports federations, committees or organizations, as well as chairs and members of councils and committees in international federations, and chairs of the councils of sports federations in countries of the world, are entitled to benefit from the directives of His Highness the President. The state and the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding all official sports competitions approved in the state.

Sports individuals

Approval requires athletes to submit a letter of recommendation from the General Sports Authority or one of the sports councils, and they are divided into the following categories:
Outstanding sporting talent.
Athletes who have made it to the national team in any sport recognized in the country.
Athletes who have participated in sports clubs in the country for a period of not less than 3 years.


Executive Directors

Executive directors are required to submit the following documents:
A certified copy of the university certificate from the Ministry of Education, proving the attainment of an academic degree not less than a bachelor’s degree.
Experience certificate of no less than 5 years.
A salary certificate showing an income of no less than AED 50,000.
A valid employment contract.


Investors

By investing in a public fund, you can obtain a 10-year golden residence visa without the need for a sponsor, under the following conditions:
Submitting a letter from an approved investment fund with a deposit value of AED 2 million.
Submitting a valid commercial license and the company’s articles of incorporation that show an investment of no less than AED 2 million.
Submitting a letter from the Federal Tax Authority proving payment of taxes of no less than AED 250,000 annually.
Ensure that the capital is not a loan.
Provide proof of health insurance for you and your family, if required.


Real estate investors

If you are the owner of a property valued at no less than 2 million UAE dirhams, you can obtain a five-year golden residence visa, renewable, under the same conditions and without the need for a sponsor, by submitting the following documents:
A letter from the Real Estate Registration Department proving your ownership of the property without any loans, and that its value exceeds 2 million UAE dirhams.
Proof of residence in the country, whether through home ownership or a rental contract.
You can view the investor's golden residency application from the Dubai Land Department website, where you will find all the details of the service, its fees, and the application form. Remember that the required documents include the passport, an electronic copy of the property ownership certificate, a personal photo, the Emirates ID - if any -, and a copy of the current residency - if any.
Entrepreneurs
If you are an entrepreneur in a technical or future project, you can obtain a 5-year golden residence visa, which requires:
A letter from the auditor proving the value of the project to be no less than 500,000 UAE dirhams (for the project owner).
A letter from local authorities stating the technological or future nature of the project (to the project owner).
A letter from the business incubator or accredited body stating the leadership and technical or future nature of the project (for the project founder).
